The overall objective of the Safety Engineer is to promote a strong safety culture by providing safety and health expertise and ensuring that management systems are established and effectively used to maintain compliance.
In this role, the selected candidate will monitor Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness and effectiveness; exert influence over Contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.
In this role, you will be responsible to develop and make updates to applicable site / unit procedures and policies. Coordinate quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with quality system and regulatory requirements and promote quality improvements.

In this role, you will manage projects and activities that may include: supplier improvements, quality improvements, supplier certifications, validations, change control, closure integrity, design/artwork, cold chain, technology transfer, etc.
In this role, you will handle multiple projects and tasks utilizing a high level of written and oral communication skills. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing quality leadership, guidance and support in design control methodologies for electromechanical/software medical device designs.

The primary responsibility of the role is to conduct testing on competitive products, and develop strategies on competitive testing, prepare technical reports for use in marketing assets by commercial teams
