The Senior Systems Analyst performs full software development life cycle support including planning, analysis, design, application development, implementation, UAT and maintenance of software applications for computer-based application systems.
Working under general supervision, this position is responsible for project leadership and ongoing information technology management for one or more small-to-medium sized operational area within the Medical Center. This position must lead project teams of IRT personnel and other department personnel in planning and executing projects in operational areas.
Work with Business Analyst to understand the customers product - specific requirements and configuration and translate them to technical design specifications and data flow from which programs are developed and coded.
The Senior Systems Analyst provides significant contributions required for implementation of major projects, taking responsibility for various segments, or will handle all facets of enhancements projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading business users, IT project teams, and external partners to drive decision making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs are being met, defining and negotiating project scope, creating documentation of business requirements which guide application development efforts, working closely with the business team, development team and quality assurance team to ensure successful implementation of business requirements, and working collaboratively with IT and business partners to resolve issues.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform necessary activities to optimize system/component performance and availability: perform analysis for the development of design packages to add/modify systems, components or standards for company equipment.
