As a Research Scientist, you will be part of a relatively new team that is excited to tackle challenges that arise with the vast amount of data and opportunities focusing on the latest technology innovations in data analytics.

Lead the development and execution of an independent program focused on optical materials for telecom and non-telecom applications in advanced transmission fibers, specialty optical fibers, fiber lasers, sensors and photonic devices.
Formulating mathematical and computational modeling for Equities and Volatility Trading. Design, implement, and deploy quantitative research and analyze historical data using quantitative and optimizing methods.
The SS is responsible for collecting all safety data relevant to the issue to be evaluated. The execution of this task is typically a joint effort between the Global Safety Lead (GSL) and the SS for medically complex topics.
This position reports to the Certifying Scientist Supervisor and Responsible Person. A Positive Certifying Scientist reviews analytical data to ensure accuracy, completeness and defensibility of testing results and reporting documents prior to release of a result report.
The successful candidate will report to one of our offices in New York State (Clifton Park, Liverpool, Williamsville or Ithaca), and will be involved in a wide variety of energy-related projects (including electric transmission, natural gas pipeline, and renewable energy (wind/solar).
