Responsible for recruiting, training, and developing sales organization resources capable of achieving sales and service initiatives; including termination of reps when required who are under performing.
Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with principals and all the sales professionals in the wholesale network; training of all independent and national doors to communicate brand history, product knowledge and visual merchandising at each point of sale.
Work with the Director of Industrial Sales to analyze, develop and recommend customer sales/profitability offers to be approved by the VP Industrial Sales. Analyze current raw/ refined sugar market and competitors in order to develop and recommend these offers. The US sugar market is quite dynamic and requires constant monitoring/analysis.
Attend tradeshows and help maintain sales contact database; cross-sell additional services and technologies to existing clients; identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.
This person will work closely with residential and commercial customers (contractors, mechanical engineers, etc.) to build awareness, gain product specification and assist with training. As well as manage an existing sales force.
