This position will create detailed specifications or designs, conduct quality assurance reviews of peer's application programming, and act as a resource for team members with less experience. The Mainframe COBOL/CICS/DB2 Programmer will code, test, debug, document and maintain software application programs.
In this role, you will install, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL & MySQL software, implement monitoring and alerting, implement backup and recovery processes, provide system and SQL performance tuning and assist in business process integration with various data sources.
In this role, you will be responsible for architecture and development of: streaming & batch analytics platforms, large scale log/event data management, operational experience with NoSQL databases, and data modeling using Hadoop ecosystem.
