Must have a strong build and production operations experience (EMS / OMS interfaces, Manage order, trade confirmation flow with exchanges, Systems running, position and price updates, Trade alerts, Reconciliation with Aladdin, Charles River and Connectivity).
Responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SAS, and InfoQuest at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met.
Develop reusable tools for the management and manipulation of hundreds of terabytes of data; analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
This Data Engineering role will be focused on building a strategic data pipeline that will transform and persist data for various analytics use cases, while ensuring the completeness, consistency, and security of the data.
You are a developer with experience with big data or real time data, understanding of modern data pipeline architectures, currently available tools, and operational experiences building or running data collection, processing, warehousing and reporting systems.
The Data Protection Engineer will be responsible for data security pertaining to, but not limited to, identifying potential security vulnerabilities, determining what controls are necessary in order to protect the data, determining the effectiveness of the controls already or designed to be put in place.
