The Analytical Chemist or Engineering will work as part of a team, in a petrochemical R&D center, performing routine chemical analysis utilizing analytical instruments (GC, TOC, KF, and pH) and conducting laboratory scale experiments with fixed bed and fluid bed reactor systems.

The Associate Chemist will perform a variety of QC testing to assess the strength, identity and purity of test samples and/or materials. Incumbent will work as a member of team to effectively plan and QC analytical testing using established (official and/or in-house) test procedures.

In this role, you will perform accurate sample preparation on solid and liquid samples using various methods including acid digestion, alkali and borate fusions, and microwave-assisted digestion for trace element analysis.
