In this role, you will manage compliance with Sarbanes Oxley in terms of maintaining systems and controls that verify the integrity of the Company's systems, processes and financial data and operational metrics.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the Bank's functions which include preparation of federal, state and local tax returns, preparation of the quarterly tax estimates and payments, tax planning and general tax inquiries.
In this role, the successful candidate will review all journal entries, reconciliations, accruals/reclasses, and variance analysis prepared by accountants to ensure their accuracy, clearance or reconciling items and their timely preparation.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing internal controls, policies & procedures, upgrading the staff and controlling the month end close process as well as the preparation and reporting of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure all properties are meeting legal reporting requirements and are capturing appropriate information in accordance with accountants or lawyers instructions and recommendations.
This role will be based at our corporate headquarters in New York. The position reports functionally to the Global Controller. You will also work closely with our Harrys brand finance team in New York, and our store brands & manufacturing finance team which is located in Eisfeld/Germany.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position address tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including but not limited to general ledger journal entry preparation, financial reporting, and year-end audit work paper preparation and supporting budget and forecast activities.
In this role, you will interact with all levels of Operations Personnel, internal auditors and corporate personnel. The selected candidate will assist the Operation Personnel with project budgeting and variance analysis.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform the monthly closing process by reviewing general ledger accounts,preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and other analysis to support and execute the financial close process.
In this role, you will be responsible for lead all aspects of the month end close, including: AP and cash disbursements, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, cash management and bank reconciliations, payroll processing, sales commissions, etc.
