In this role, you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Develop and implement an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care; perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
Demonstrates the ability to adapt technique/treatment to age of population served, including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while providing care/service with respect to cultural differences and spiritual needs.
Delivers patient-centered nursing care in accordance with standards of care defined by wesley medical center. Collaborates with the patient, significant others and health care providers in providing and advocating for patient care.
Maintains quality delivery of patient care by completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing Process, the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO and State regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures.
