In this role, the selected candidate must have a knowledge of design concepts involving composites, bonded metals, and aerospace hardware is required; proven experience and understanding of composite or bonding tool design is required.
In this role, the selected candidate supports manufacturing engineering & test engineering by: utilizing statistical tools, such as SPC, to analyze and evaluate data to improve processes and products; verification/validation of automated production test tooling; evaluating measurement accuracy, uncertainties and pass/fail criteria and data; determining test methods, plans or procedures; and writing formal reports.
The Engineer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of automated systems used for vision inspecting, cutting, welding, filling, packaging, assembling, palletizing, and many other manufacturing capabilities.
This position requires excellent communication skills as well as being a team player who will work well with clients and colleagues; professional applicants should be licensed in South Dakota or be eligible for licensure.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for selecting controllers, sensors, machine vision, motors, servos, actuators, power modules, transformers, fuses, etc. based on application and control requirements.
In this role, you will operate as a highly qualified experimental cabin crewmember following appropriate product and safety training. Support other flight crewmembers with aircraft limitations, special instructions and complex test procedures.
