The Solutions Architect II is responsible for the development of technical specifications through analysis of functional and business requirements, coordinating the high and low level design effort on projects, providing guidance and mentoring on technical issues, helping to define and document development standards and providing architectural oversight on projects to ensure that systems conform to GM Financial's architectural standards.
Participates In the design of low to medium revenue and low complexity custom services solutions; responsible for supporting more senior level architects in medium to large solution design opportunities.
Interfacing with other generalists and specialists in the MSFT sales and delivery teams (including partners, services, Internal Microsoft Product / Service organizations) focused on consumption of the Azure platform in ISV accounts.
Develop guidelines for PaaS-oriented development & implementations (e.g. Cloud Foundry/Openshift); develop guidelines for development & implementation of other container technology (e.g. native Docker & Kubernetes).
The Software Architect position requires senior level proficiency in technology and enterprise architecture, hands-on coding skills, and the ability to translate high-level business requirements into technology execution.
Responsible for supporting more senior level architects in medium to large solution design opportunities; participates in the design of low to medium revenue and low complexity custom services solutions.
Prepare various technical documents including but not limited to system design, database design, integration design, prototype, UI design; perform development team lead and coach developers in each project.
