The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
Maintains accountability for the employee health and safety program which includes prevention of work-related injuries, case management of employee injuries or exposures, as well as employee safety and ergonomic evaluations.
Utilizes a collaborative process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to engage, educate, and promote/influence members in decisions related to achieving and maintaining optimal nutritional status.
Supervise direct patient care, perform patient assessments, develop and administer dialysis plans, analyze patient data, administer medications, fluid therapy/blood products, and other treatments per physician orders.
Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
In this role, you will be responsible to implement physicians' orders; administer medications, start ivs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
