The Clinical Pharmacist supports the health plan by applying clinical and analytical skills in a managed care environment to impact the health of members, provide education to providers, and reduce healthcare costs.
The Pharmacist Clinical works with other clinicians to ensure quality multi-disciplinary patient care including drug therapy management. The Pharmacist Clinical performs drug utilization reviews, monitors for drug interactions, and potential adverse events while seeing patients.
The Pharmacist is responsible for providing quality care to patients through both clinical and operational pharmacy services in accordance with standards of professional practice, state and federal laws, and standards established by regulatory or accreditation agencies.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide clinical consultations to internal personnel regarding medication for drug interactions, side effects and dosage; ensure the appropriate storage and security of medicinal products and supplements to provide purity, freshness and potency.

The pharmacist provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.
