We work with patients with brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, amputation, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions and general rehabilitation needs as well as those who need general rehab services.
Evaluation, treatment and home programming are provided for children with: musculo skeletal injuries to upper extremities, fine motor delays, visual perceptual and visual motor impairments, brain injuries and neurological impairments, sensory processing disorders and related problems, hematology and oncology disorders, and neuromuscular conditions.
The Registered professional will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. The Occupational Therapist will also evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments.
Delivers occupational therapy modalities to hospital inpatients and outpatients as assigned; performs initial assessment, establishes goals; follows standard of care in the delivery of modalities and evaluates progress; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.
