In this role, the selected candidate ensures compliance of research program and associated research studies. Coordinates the compliant implementation and conduct of human subject research projects by utilizing the nursing process, of medium to high workload and medium to high complexity.
The individual will assist the investigating physician(s)/Principal Investigator(s) (PI) with the conduct of the study, including preparation of regulatory documents, planning, subject recruitment, enrollment, and scheduling. The CRNC will train and mentor health care personnel about protocols and ensure protocol adherence under the direction of the PI.
In this role, the selected candidate will take responsibilities for identifying his or her ongoing professional development needs and seeks resources and opportunities to meet those needs, such as through membership in nursing or research organizations.
