In this role, you will plan and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs in a home care environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
In this role, the selected candidate evaluates and treats patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits which impact their abilities to successfully perform independent living skills.
In this role, you will develop appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the occupational therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.
In this role, you will provides a medically prescribed occupational therapy program through evaluation of patient's joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, functional mobility, muscle tone and reflexes, appearance, adl independence, integrity of sensation and perception, performance of activities and developmental activities. Ability to assess and provide age/developmental specific care; i.E., adolescent, pediatric, adult and geriatric.
