The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide technical engineering leadership in the development and manufacturing support of medical devices / equipment instruments such as surgical devices during the feasibility, design, verification, and validation development as well as post release phases.
In this role, you will provide procedural support for SWS facility proofings and activations. - Reconcile procedures with engineering drawings, resolve discrepancies with cognizant individuals and groups.
Coordinate with respective Program Office(s) to ensure Schedule coordination, Make/Buy strategy, and Proposal support; represents Operations process organization on the applicable Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT).
The candidate will be required to develop and execute manufacturing process plans for optics component manufacturing, continuously improve processes and plans using tools and methods such as statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE), and conceptualize, design and execute tooling requirements using ProE.
