In this role, you will develop C# .NET applications using Visual Studio 2015. Use SVN, JIRA, and Remedy for source control and issue tracking. Evaluate and recommend web architecture and process improvements. Troubleshoot, upgrade, and rewrite web applications developed in-house and by external developers. Provide operation and maintenance support of enterprise-wide web applications.
The preferred candidate will be primarily responsible for providing technical leadership and integration across program office, Systems Integrated Product Team (SIPT) and customer base to drive the execution of Class 1 and Class 2 Engineering changes.
Provide practical application of engineering skills to perform flight and ground system electrical engineering projects that that meet stakeholder expectations, system functional requirements and NASA program requirements.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
The position is responsible for enabling Governance audits and advanced analytics through reports, dashboards, and visualizations sourced from various systems (HP ALM, JIRA, VersionOne, Jenkins, etc) through SQL, APIs, and RESTful services.
The position calls for a Software Engineer working in a fast paced engineering team to who is able to analyze requirements, design and develop software with minimal supervision and who has experience with the full software development life cycle.
