Perform geotechnical engineering analyses, including geotechnical characterization and selection of soil engineering properties, applying geotechnical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using computer software including SEEP/W for seepage analyses, UTEXAS for stability analyses, conducting consolidation analyses of clays subject to ramp loading and deriving undrained shear strength profiles in accordance with SHANSEP design methodology, and applying understanding of experience with the hydraulic conductivity behavior of compacted clays.
Work with Senior Engineers and the Business Class Leader to identify and develop specific technical expertise and will attend training and seminars focused on further development and understanding of complex concepts related to their discipline.
Review and provide assessment of test plans, certification reports, NECT Integrated Products Team (IPT) inputs, Configuration Control Board inputs, NASA/NRO collaboration (i.e. NASA ERB participation, information sharing).
Exercises technical authority for the planning, design, control, integration and/or the completion of assigned Facility Engineering projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects, Class III support equipment projects, and facility systems engineering projects for the Trident II missile.
