In this role, you will provide oversight for the food services department, and provides nutritional assessments for patients as needed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
The selected candidate will utilize the hospitals policies, procedures, and protocols to identify patients with nutrition risk, provides expert assessment of nutritional status, recommends and implements nutrition intervention and therapy, educates and explains to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, and follows-up plans of care to measure and respond to outcomes.
In this role, you will manage assigned responsibilities and time. Reviews screening reports, consults, and scheduled reassessments. Applies Florida Hospital Policy to prioritize patient care and interdisciplinary rounds. Satisfies department metrics to include productivity.
