In this role, you will be responsible for
assessing, improving or implementing financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure the integrity of financial statements, including without limitation all financial, accounting and operational reporting of all subsidiaries.
The Controller will be the primary officer in charge of statutory financial reporting and will perform and supervise the timely and accurate preparation of the annual statement (Yellow book), quarterly filings, financial statements and footnotes, and be responsible for reinsurance accounting and Schedule F.
The Controller will oversee all accounting and finance operations, complete the day to day activities of the accounts receivable, refund, internal audit, bank reconciliation and accounts payable teams to complete their daily assigned tasks.
This position will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, customer credit, collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general entity accounting and cost accounting. This position reports to the Director of Accounting.
The selected candidate will be responsible for cost accounting, organize monthly financial closing, prepare financial statements as well as variance analysis forecasting and budgeting for a $170 MM global manufacturing company division.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial and accounting information, preparing consolidated financial statements and related disclosures, researching accounting policies, and preparing supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
The Senior Operations Controller responsibility spans all production IT technology hardware, software and/or services. The role is accountable for driving the critical incident management process for major incidents from declaration to service availability.
