Manages the day-to-day CSO operations for one or more units through front-line managers and supervisors by establishing priorities and objectives, scheduling and assigning work, adjusting schedules when necessary to meet completion/ compliance dates, and assisting others with resolving complex problems while ensuring adherence to Company policies and objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the paper machine operations such as safety, productivity, efficiency, quality, housekeeping, personnel, long and short term planning, problem solving, maintenance planning, grade scheduling, machine clothing design and life, paper machine equipment design and life, budgeting, etc.
Provide mentorship and coaching to the Operations Team Leaders in all areas such as employee relations, problem solving, manufacturing and business acumen, KPI development, performance management and individual/team accountability.
This position will be responsible not only for financial management and accounting, but also for leadership in analyzing current operational processes, making recommendations for improvements, and taking the initiative with colleagues to effectively implement changes.
The Supervisor, Product Support is responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities of Technical Services team. The Supervisor implements business strategies and maintains profitable business relationships.
