Responsible for leadership, process improvement/optimization, product development, quality and process support. Initiate, conduct and documents results of process trials to improve productivity and/or quality.
Acts and performs as the technical leader for all DC IT functions. Train and mentor staff to increase ability to support the business. Monitors and reports on key DC systems. Participates or lead in strategic projects to research and analyze equipment and costs.
Identify and implement engineering solutions and improvements in equipment and processes for maintenance reliability. Provide maintenance engineering, technical assistance, and maintenance project leadership and support.
Design of foundry components/equipment and support systems utilizing standard engineering principles and practices. Generate detailed mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings for systems and equipment.
This role is responsible to improve manufacturing operations by implementing new or upgraded processes that increase output, enhance product quality and ultimately reduce manufacturing costs while simultaneously maintaining or improving operator safety.
Perform failure mode and effect analysis to assure the proper Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs are implemented, audited and improved on all existing and future assets.
