Maintain a robust knowledge/understanding of current/proposed compliance/audit requirements and specific business issues/processes that could be impacted by noncompliance. Consult with senior management and department heads on an ongoing basis on compliance/audit related issues.
Participate in unit based quality councils, act as preceptors or serve on a multitude of task forces designed to identify and implement innovative improvements that lead to enhanced patient care delivery.
Responsible for the notification to all patients of their obligations to safeguard take-home medications.Ensuring that the clinic protects the rights and confidentiality of all patients to provide each patient with the required medical and clinical care.
Analyze current state, gaps and concerns and develop strategic long range plan for the food safety, sanitation and auditing groups. Lead and direct efforts to develop and implement best in class systems and processes.
