The Program Manager is a senior-level professional and a seasoned individual producer and/or working task leader who applies a comprehensive and in-depth working knowledge of financial/business concepts, contract management, policies, practices, processes and procedures to the management of ship design and construction programs.
Motivate the team to meet commitments to the established timing. Build team technically and personally through mentoring and coaching. Resolve conflicts between team members, departments, and external stakeholders. Negotiate with internal and external groups and vendors. Ability to identify root cause of a problem, develop corrective action and lead team to resolution.
The Program Manager monitors performance to the contract, oversees contract compliance, negotiates contract change proposals with the customer, and is a point - of - contact for the customer, responsible for Customer - Contractor relations.

The Program Manager has direct accountability for the success of assigned product line program(s) as measured in all the terms and requirements of the contract, by profitability/cost expectations set by the Business Leader and General Manager and by the measure of customer satisfaction.
