Responsible for working within a multi-physician inpatient hospital setting and provide first assist services primarily, but not limited to the General Surgery Service. Surgical assist may also be required for Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, GYN/Oncology and Vascular Surgery.
In this role, you will be responsible for
under the supervision of the medical director, to be trained to handle a full scope of primary care services including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance.
The Physicians examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. They often counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease; utilizes telemedicine platform to evaluate and treat patients off-site in addition to providing in person care.
