The Superintendent is responsible for directly managing the construction and administrative activities associated with the field operations of a project. This person is also tasked with bringing the project to completion on schedule, within budget and per the project specifications.
The Core Department Superintendent will oversee core making operations, core box design & layout, as well as core resin testing. The Core Department Superintendent will also be responsible for coldbos core systems, and no-bake core systems.
Direct the execution of all aspects of projects, including: pre-bid meetings and proposal preparation, project start-up, contract and change order management, project controls, materials buy-out, subcontractor management and cash flow management
The Assistant Superintendent will help with daily operations including the project staff and subcontractors scheduling, management, safety, planning, and helps coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals.
Responsible for all of the day-to-day general business operations of the Company on-site at the projects assigned to them, and such responsibilities include budgeting,purchasing, quality control, health and safety, contract labor oversight, compliance (both legal
and regulatory), and auditing, among others.
The ideal Superintendent will be experienced in leading ground up construction, tenant finish out, and renovation work for multiple project types including Big Box, Retail, Restaurant, Entertainment, Multi-Family, Hotel, and Institutional clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for progress and performance reporting, working with site management team to maintain the site construction schedule, and be responsible for craft productivity and discipline costs.
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination and quality control of subcontractors and craft personnel. Ensures the safety and well-being of personnel at project sites. Complete and maintain daily progress/production reports. Provide QC/QA inspections for all on site work. Monitor construction progress to ensure timely completion of each project.
Assist with budget reports and prepare risk management plans accordingly; consistently demonstrate the tenacity to improve financial performance on projects; best of class in management of direct field labor.
This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a medium to large maintenance contract and/or small capital project. Directly supervises maintenance supervisors and other project personnel as required.
