The Staff Nurse II is a Registered Nurse (RN) who provides nursing care to patients in an organized, effective manner; assesses patient progress, collaborating with other nursing staff when needed, in accordance with the nursing process and established plan of care.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention and evaluating patient care outcomes.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist with the management of clinic operations and supervision of nursing service personnel. Provides patient evaluations, and services in the Screening Clinic; including laboratory screening evaluations, risk assessments, and patient counseling. Performs nursing assessment of patients, both in person and via telephone, in accordance with established triage protocols and implements proper course of action.
In this role, you will perform telephone triage using best practice guidelines and documentation to ensure patients receive the right level of care in the right setting at the right time by the right caregiver using the right equipment and supplies.
In this role, you will provide direct professional care as needed and provides a multidisciplinary assessment of each patient's psychiatric, psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic milieu and directs the delivery of care by other members of the treatment team
In this role, you will actively participates in professional role development activities including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and the review and clinical application of research findings.
