The Senior Security Operations Engineer will function as an Operations and Cyber Security Threat Analyst, joining a team that will provide Cyber domain expertise and technical leadership in operational security programs for Direct Energys various lines of business.
In this role, you will work with security and risk management, compliance, and network engineering teams to establish and enforce network security policies for online network environments and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations.
In this role, the selected candidate must be familiar with encryption technologies both at rest and in transit; experience with NIST, ISO 27001, Cobit, SOX and/or other information security management frameworks or regulations.
Ensure and assist with the proper deployment and management of solutions that support information security including virus detection, malware detection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and other security solutions.
The Security Engineer works with project managers, business analysts and contractors on security solutions to address company security requirements. Provides subject matter expertise in evaluating, selecting, designing and integrating a diverse set of IT security systems and tools in a highly complex corporate environment.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience configuring, deploying, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches; experience designing network and security services for medium to large organizations.
Implement cutting edge security technologies, drive towards adoption, create proof-of-concept and frameworks; partner with Visa Security teams and enable enterprise wide security capabilities for DMPDs services, solutions and ecosystems
In this role, you will work on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies and create formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization.
In this role, you will conduct manual application security testing and source code auditing for a variety of technologies and provide clear and detailed risk assessment and remediation guidelines for developers and business owners.
In this role, the selected candidate must have exposure to multiple security engineering disciplines including application security, secure software development, cryptography, network security, system security, and security policy.
