The Clinical Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for providing a high level of expert support and feedback across various Departments; the CQAS role is also responsible for auditing, reporting and maintaining records of QA documentation.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare, implement, and initiate review of laboratory policy and procedures, performing literature searches as needed to ensure regulatory agency requirements are addressed and met.
In this role, the selected candidate develops, maintains, and monitors the quality management system for Laboratory Services. Documents all significant activities and directs process improvement activities as necessary.
Coordinates and reports on quality assurance activities for the department and performs activities that ensure that the laboratory and point of care testing sites comply with regulatory agency requirements (TJC, CLIA, and CAP).
