The Director of Critical Care & Med/Surg is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, the Progressive Care Unit, the Medical Unit and Surgical Unit.
The primary purpose of the Medical Records Director position is to assure that medical records are maintained in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as in accordance with our established policies and procedures, to assure that a complete medical records program is maintained.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and implementing policies, procedures, short-term goals, and long-term goals to ensure that resources are maximized and financial viability is maintained for the achievement of department and organizational objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate will monitor and audit related activities based on established programs, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with NCQA, federal and state regulations, and contractual requirements.
As a member of senior leadership team, position oversees all aspects of clinical care including coordinating and directing patient care per adopted policies and procedures, state/federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards. Serves as liaison between the medical staff and senior leadership team.
In this role, you will direct and supervises all functions and activities of Medical, Surgical/Oncology & Orthopedics; implement and interprets policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, medical and the public.
