The General Managers role is to steer and motivate an entire jcp team in operating a store that represents the company and merchandise brand that will make our customers excited and wanting to come back for more!
In this role, you will be responsible to drive sales and profit through execution of an overall store strategy; including leading and engaging the team and delivering on operational excellence standards.
Develop and execute strategy to drive sales and build customer loyalty through store programs including but not limited to; networking, culinary classes and events, credit card, gift registry and community outreach.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for building bench strength, defining priorities, management training and development, and ensuring the highest standards for operations execution are upheld.
In this role, the selected candidate will test and evaluate effectiveness, segment, develop campaigns, and ultimately support sales by driving aggressive efforts to create interest and demand and produce leads.
Responsible for operational functions of the distribution center, including leading a staff and team to accomplish the objectives of cost, efficiency, quality, safety, and related customer service to support our True Value Retailers.
