Oversee and manage the process of reviewing drawings, specifications and all other construction documents. Make senior management aware of design-related problems, completeness of documents and other potential risks.
Manages and is responsible for all estimating functions that may be required during pre construction. Directs, coordinates and participates in the preparation of all estimates that are provided by the Estimating Department.
Review documents and identify project bid requirements, scope of work, critical schedule and sequences, non-standard work conditions, cost impacts, material and equipment data, safety and compliance requirements, risk management and special requirements.
Computes cost factors and prepares estimates for bidding purposes, management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work; selecting vendors or subcontractors; and determining cost effectiveness.
