The right candidate for the Service Engineer role is an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer (or someone who has equal experience), has excellent time management skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment, and is able to cope with changes on the fly.
Develop and review test equipment specifications and compliance. Testing types include, but not limited to: AC/DC dielectric withstand test, TCC timing test, partial discharge test, and system/sub-system level functional test.
Utilize experience with manufacturing capacity and costing analysis; continuous improvement and lean manufacturing; DOE and statistical Six Sigma analysis, design for manufacturing and assembly, manufacturing assembly process engineering, and process simulation models.
Responsible for PLC and HMI application development, system architecture concept and design, instrumentation specification and selection, control panel design and acceptance testing, system commissioning and start-up for food processing and packing equipment/systems.
Ability to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks (maximum flexibility) in a dynamic environment. This position requires significant interaction with team members to understand testing needs and create meaningful test suites
