The Regional Sales Manager is a direct sales management position with a pre-established direct and Food Broker Sales network. This position will also call on new and existing regional accounts and will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing business as well as generating new accounts.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare and present an annual Regional Marketing Plan including; Regional shows, Dealer/Distributor open houses, voids in Dealer/Distributor coverage, and action plans to improve sales.
The District Sales Manager is responsible for sales and product training using company tools / materials, account development and territory planning, providing positive motivation. District Sales Managers report to a Senior District Sales Manager or to the Regional Manager.
In this role, the selected candidate will work to develop new product opportunities with new and existing customers by identifying opportunities and working with the engineering and production team to produce the new products.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing, directing, training and coordinating independent sales representative companies within a specific geographic territory, in addition to preparing sales forecasts and market research in order to maintain current business at profitable levels and promote overall business growth by targeting new business opportunities and fostering profitable relationships with potential customers.

work with the Regional Technical Services Manager, Regional Marketing Manager and other internal resources using a consultative selling approach to determine customer needs, develop support plans, and implement programs that provide a range of customer service offerings to develop and grow distributors to meet profitability targets.
