The Six Sigma Black Belt Process Engineer leads teams to upgrade processes and products that may range from incremental improvements to major technology changes. In this position, the main target is to increase the safety and productivity of our manufacturing assets, optimize costs of the plant through process and technology improvements.
In this role, you will participate in design reviews and ensure engineering tools and dfss tools are used where it applies. Ensure design guides and design rules are created, stored and utilized by the design teams.
In this role, you will create and lead a system with plant and departmental leadership to identify and implement improvement activities focused on value creation, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Continuous Improvement, and Projects; identify gaps in organizational performance and lead the transformation of existing processes.
In this role, you will lead and facilitate working sessions to discover and detail the current state business design and capture existing systems and tools, including perceived limitations, as well as details about current business operations that need to be considered in the future state business design.
In this role, you will lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives employing strategies/tools to measurably improve performancesuch as Kaizen, process mapping, systematic problem solving, visual management, flow, and error proofing among others.
