The Clinic Registered Nurse is a licensed qualified individual with substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and nursing skills. Trained to perform patient care activities or procedures, administer medications and treatments, as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed physician.
In this role, you will be responsible to provide leadership in the application of the nursing process to client care and organizational processes and/or systems to improve outcomes at the unit or service level.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the department.
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
