In this role, you will work with engineering teams to debug software programs, make enhancements to existing software systems, and design and develop software features to ensure systems are scalable and supportable.
In this role, you will have extensive experience in the installation, upgrade, configuration, performance tuning, capacity planning, backup/recovery and security of storage and storage access protocols i.e. ISCSI.
This position would require the individual to be responsible to manage the functionality and efficiency of the NAVSEA Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) System; which is based off of a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) product called Maximo.
In this role, you will design and implement and support complex server architectures that may include load balancing, server clustering VMWare, or other technologies that provide scalability and availability.

This individual will join the Linux team at our client, participating in administration of the Linux environment, integration of licensed and/or OEM software packages as well as all strategic and tactical planning of the environment required to meet Client-specific business needs.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity; propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system.
In this role, the selected candidate will work in a team of engineers and administrators and will be responsible for evaluation, implementation and support of all IT infrastructure devices. This includes configuration of systems, storage and network infrastructure, systems design, capacity planning, and documentation.
