Able to work well cross-functionally, rapidly gain an understanding of compensation & HR applications, manage multiple projects with changing priorities, and initiate and complete projects with minimal guidance.
This role will lead the Microsoft Azure Expansion product marketing team. Responsibilities include managing a team of senior product marketers that own Microsoft datacenter marketing, launching new Microsoft cloud regions and driving Azure field readiness & marketing for restricted industries.
A successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the brass tacks of execution. He or she will be will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the company.
In this role, the successful candidate will help drive the value proposition, bringing together product messaging and market understanding, to drive a compelling set of cloud inspired products and add on services offerings with our global OEM Server HW partners.
Proactively support the Sales channel for pricing, promotional materials, lead time, technical questions, and service / support; engage in the sales process from cultivating new opportunities to supporting recurring orders and collections.
Understanding the audience (decision makers, influencers and end-users) and putting together the right story that conveys our value proposition and driving greater awareness of and perception for surface by these key audiences.
