Develop scalable talent acquisition strategies that move away from the transactional into the continuous evolution of how to capture the best talent; build and manage a team who own finding, assessing, and closing all levels of candidates (mostly technical).
Responsibility for traffic development via multiple marketing channels, i.e. e-mail, direct, sponsored links, free search/SEO, paid search, affiliates/blogs, display ads, mobile, social media, and offline events.
Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.
Invest in the on-going skill development of the recruiting team, including seeking out emerging technologies and implementing best practices; create a sustainable model to meet business demand and align with recruiting delivery goals.
Work closely with the AWS Recruiting leadership (RLT) team to prioritize projects as well as with the broader recruiting organization, or AWS business to form appropriate workgroups, design the project flow, milestones, timelines and success criteria for each project.
Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers, interviewers, and referrers; develop and manage recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics.
