The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
In this role, the selected candidate will identify opportunities for quality improvement and initiates appropriate referrals; communicate concerns regarding delivery of patient/family care to the manager.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to supervise others in a fast-paced environment. Record and monitor patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation programs.
The position provides support for the day to day operations including scheduling, outreach, and assignments. Working with the health services director is role the contact for health plan referrals, inpatient notifications, idt and care coordination. The position is a system super user and is involved with training and oversight of the new hires and ongoing staff.
