Identify technical requirements that will support new products and services; interact with equipment vendors, internal design engineers, and operations groups to identify product issues and improvements to ensure that client's service and operational requirements are satisfied.
This position is responsible for providing daily network operational support of the Enterprise wide network, including (but not limited to) participation in planning, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination.
Collaborate with software engineers to improve supportability, stability, and robustness of custom server software and infrastructure; design, implement, and support tools and process to automate and improve infrastructure visibility and supportability.
Develop improved strategies to make integration less complex. Conduct project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons. Employer will consider allowing remote work from any location in the U.S. up to 75% of the time and will require work from Sprints Bellevue area location 25% of the time.
Participate in on-going research, evaluation, and analysis of existing and planned data network requirements to ensure improvement of network performance, availability, reliability and blending with new technology and concepts.
Lead the planning of incremental improvements, implementation, and maintenance of the enterprise voice network. Primarily focusing on support of converged technologies and applications with an emphasis on Cisco CUCM, UCS systems.
