As such, the candidate will work regularly with a wide range of software and hardware technologies within CERT labs. The candidate may also assist in developing and teaching cyber security training content to external customers.
The CA shall facilitate planning, execution, and reporting of CAP assessments, CAP data management (collection, processing, and reporting), incorporating common DOT&E processes and methodologies, DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) analysis to support CS assessments, mission verification/validation, and vulnerability remediation (VR).

Responsible for the engineering and design of the security environment for the Federal customer. Viable candidates will be able to lead various aspects of the security functions within the Federal customer environment including security engineering, compliance and analysis / forensics.
Provides advice, guidance and assistance to managers and other users on technical issues focusing on Information Security risk and supports USAA development projects, departmental initiatives and other special projects.
Recommend lab reconfiguration and upgrades in support of rapidly changing development and test environments; develop application deployment strategy within DoD environment and remotely support deployed applications; track and configure all assets.
Make recommendations concerning certification; support and provide minutes and status reports for collaborative meetings with Navy CA/ODAA points of contact to update and enhance C&A documentation accordingly.
