The CNC programmer is responsible for programming and operating various sheet metal fabrication equipment; helps maintain inventory and tooling requirements; and performs and completes setup sheets, as well as documents process controls, for each setup. Additionally, this role helps drive cost saving initiatives by optimizing sheet metal fabrication processes to minimize cycle times and scrap.
Design and develop fault-tolerant, scalable service oriented architectures, constructing and managing services published to both internal and external consumers, integrating with complex data stores and third party components.
Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs; communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues and customers.
Ensure all development goes through appropriate approval/test processes and has a comprehensive release plan for promotion into a production environment with appropriate hand off to operational support.
