In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting technical teams developing and trading off hardware/software design concepts that satisfy requirements and constraints, configuration item design, verification of the design using modeling.

Perform project planning, technical analysis and evaluation of options and alternatives, and engineering design activities for assigned buildings or electrical systems; assignments will include building electrical system engineering, capital upgrade evaluations and planning, and expense projects.
Position will include customer interface/support, defining/implementing ESD and latchup test structures, characterizing and modeling ESD devices and producing ESD and Latchup reference guides used to support customers.

Engage with Technology Development, Process Integration, Metrology, Photolithography, Characterization, Data Preparation, Design Services, and Mask House teams for specifications to design electrical and optical designs as well as an overall frame structure to be developed.
The successful candidate will design state-of-the-art turbomachines, carry out high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) calculations, cover component rig testing, and provide detailed aerodynamic analysis based on the CFD and experimental data.
Experience with opto-electrical components such as photo-diodes, trans-impedance amplifiers (TIA), Power Amplifiers / Laser Driver devices, optical interconnection strategies and optical link budgeting.
