This is a senior level position that will be responsible for managing the configuration, installation and on-going support of the Network Infrastructure which includes Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, Brocade switches, F5 load balancers and Checkpoint and PaloAlto firewalls.
In this role, you will develop workload projection methodologies to estimate future resource requirements, analyzes the impact of new technologies on processor and peripheral utilization and performance.
Serve as a senior network engineer. Install, configure, and maintain client computing infrastructure, including switches, routers, and Cisco ASAs in a Special Access Program (SAP) IT environment at a global enterprise level.
In this role, the selected candidate will analyze voice; video; radio-frequency; and/or data communications networks; including planning; designing; evaluating; selecting; and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators; bridges; and other devices.
The senior security engineer activity will require senior level knowledge of specific products and the ability to understand how the products might be utilized in customer environments or in a comprehensive security platform.
Serve as a senior network engineer for the Directorate for Science and Technology (ST). Install, configure, and maintain client computing infrastructure, including switches, routers, and Cisco ASAs in a Special Access Program (SAP) IT environment at a global enterprise level.
Perform engineering and project management, requirements development, system and network design, COTS product evaluation, cost analysis and estimation, procurement, pre-installation development and testing, systems installation and integration, with full integrated logistics support to include configuration management, documentation, and training for Navy approved network and communications projects.
Provide expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
