Serve as a technical architect on large-scale Enterprise Architecture (EA) projects. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to clients and other senior staff in addressing complex, enterprise-level systems engineering, and integration challenges.
This role will provide leadership as it relates to providing direction and building support and vision of the SFDC platform, assisting with the ongoing evaluation of add-ons, improving the internal support structures through oversight of a team of Developers, Sr. Business Analysts and Administrators to streamline business processes and spearhead new initiatives to ensure user adoption.
The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing right sized and right sourced high quality solutions that enable product and service delivery in support of the College Boards mission, strategy, goals, and objectives.
Communicates technical architecture direction and coordinates technical proof of concept analyses (Technical). * Assists in solving technical and performance problems within the technical infrastructure (Technical).
Write custom apex controllers, triggers and components as per business requirements provided; create custom Visualforce pages for extending standard salesforce.com functionality or for creating brand new set of functionality.
In this role,you will be responsible for identifying the organizations needs, breaking down large scale projects to manageable tasks, working out which IT products to use based on cost benefit analysis and research, agreeing plans with the clients, explaining to designers and developers whats required and overseeing the progress, producing documents that monitor progress and ensure the quality of the project and advising the client on managing future IT needs.
In this role, you will gather data migration requirements, define a data migration plan and perform complex data migrations requiring transformation using a database, and potentially containing very large data sets.
