The Proposal Manager oversees all proposal activities, including directing proposal personnel, managing proposal schedules and deadlines, developing proposal outline and compliance matrix, and monitoring the progress of the proposal.
This position requires flexibility and creativity in responding to clients and potential clients. Will work closely with Project Managers and Business Development staff in developing responses to Requests for Proposals as well as responses to non-project specific requests.
The Proposal Manager leads the proposal team in the development of the proposal document; oversees all aspects of proposal development, to include quality assurance; and ensures that all proposal development milestones are met and that the final document is fully compliant with the customers requirements.
The proposal manager works with the capture manager to ensure that the opportunity strategies, solutions, themes, and discriminators are woven into the proposal response. The proposal manager ensures that the proposal is completed and delivered to the Government within the prescribed time periods.
Ensure proposal activities are executed in accordance with pertinent legal regulations and Company policies / procedures, and, where permissible, tailor processes and procedures as required by the size, scope, scale and timing of the opportunity.
