In this role, you will provide network and advanced engineering support for the Non-secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Network (JWICS) in order to improve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of intelligence data supporting the CMC and executive level communications.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist with network security assessments for potential business partners; build and integrate new application servers including file and print, database, web, mail, and servers to support call center applications.
In this role, you will provide expert level analysis of voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
In this role, you will provide support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications requirements, designs and orders; work as part of a collaborative, multidiscipline team in support of Government and provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of network engineering and communications modeling.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to work with customers to determine network requirements, write system requirement documents, and develop design solutions (physical and logical) that are in compliance with best engineering practices, standards, and guidelines.
