The selected candidate must have demonstrated experience and understanding of product development life cycle, dynamics of manufacturing environments, operational and tactical plans, processes and techniques.
In this role, the selected candidate will monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site field leadership to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies. Handle multiple internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities, manage to and meet deadlines, and develop & track plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.
This position will be responsible for assisting and ensuring that all quality and production requirements are met by supervising daily operations of assigned departments, building and maintaining an effective supervisory team, and analyzing operations on a continual basis to improve costs, quality and service.
Manages all resources related to manpower, physical assets, and capacities in accordance with overall company guidelines and operating principles; reviews and interprets plant performance against operating plans and standards; assures the availability of material to meet manufacturing plans and manages all inventory requirements to support the plant and division goals.
Perform managerial functions including but not limited to: employee scheduling, performance management, responding to employee questions and concerns, work direction, ensuring safe work practices, accident/incident reporting, etc.
